The Art of Crafting Cold Cast Ceramic Clay flowers. |
| This delicate process begins with the blending of the fine clay with a high quality oil-based color to match the natural hue of each flower. |
| The clay is flattened into shapes in two principle techniques. First, the clay is divided into small parts by tiny scissors, then each part is flattened by a metal rod. |
| Another technique is to flatten the clay into thin sheet and cut the clay by various metal molds to carve out individual petals and leaves. Each petal is curved, rolled, etched and glued to form a flower. |
